VarsitySync Terms of Use

By using the VarsitySync website, the VarsitySync tvOS app, or by creating an account, you agree that you have read and accepted these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must stop using the service.
1. Use of the Service
VarsitySync provides tools for uploading and displaying digital signage content. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for all content you upload or assign to your displays.
2. Content Ownership and Responsibility
You retain ownership of any media you upload. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use all content, including images, videos, and presentations. VarsitySync is not responsible for copyright violations or unauthorized media use by account owners.
3. Prohibited Content
You agree not to use VarsitySync to display or upload:
- Illegal or harmful material
- Harassment or hateful content
- Adult content or explicit imagery
- Copyrighted material without permission
- Malicious code or harmful software
4. Screen Codes and Device Pairing
VarsitySync uses display codes to link a screen to your account. You are responsible for maintaining control of your codes. VarsitySync is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by shared or exposed codes.
5. Service Availability
VarsitySync strives to provide reliable service, but uptime is not guaranteed. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or other events outside our control. VarsitySync is not liable for downtime or data inaccessible during these periods.
6. Limitation of Liability
VarsitySync is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VarsitySync and its owner are not liable for any damages, including loss of content, display errors, device malfunction, or business losses resulting from the use of the service.
7. User Accounts and Security
You are responsible for your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. VarsitySync is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by weak passwords or shared login information.
8. External Hosting and Linked Services
VarsitySync may allow content hosted on third party platforms such as AWS, SharePoint, or other cloud providers. You are responsible for following the terms of those platforms. VarsitySync is not responsible for outages or access restrictions caused by third party services.
9. Updates and Feature Changes
VarsitySync may update or modify features at any time. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the changes.
10. Refund Policy
VarsitySync offers digital services that become available immediately when a paid plan is activated. Because of this, subscription payments are generally non refundable.
Exceptions may be considered only in the following situations:
- Billed in error
- A duplicate payment was made
- A technical issue prevented use of the service
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the billing date. VarsitySync reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests at its discretion.
11. Termination
VarsitySync may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these terms or use the service in a harmful or unlawful manner. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancelled subscriptions do not qualify for refunds unless covered by the refund policy.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Tennessee.
